Welcome to MBDS SVKMUK
The Mekong Basin extends across the borders of Cambodia, Yunnan of China, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Vietnam and Thailand
Total population of the region is estimated to 280 million.
Meeting in Bangkok in Feb 1999, 6 countries agreed to collaborate on Disease Surveillance under the name MBDS
MOU has been signed by Health Ministers of 6 countries in Kunming of China in 2001.
